I was told about this place by my cousins. As soon as I heard about their menu, I decided to go on a weekend for lunch. We as a family we're deciding what each one wants to have but when we reached there we came to know that lunch is their family special lunch that's served on a banana leaf unlimited. Well, while we are here let's try it we thought. It's not a very big place so seating is limited. I see a lot of take outs being taken by people, which could be because of the limited seating. Anyhow we had to wait for ten minutes and then we got seated. We were served with water and drinks that we asked for and then a banana leaf was placed for each one of us and one by one things started getting served. My initial thought was that it's a Kerala cuisine but based on some of the dishes that I tasted, it seemed like it's from Andhra too. We had asked for meat sadya but if you're vegetarian you do get everything vegetarian food. One gets a variety of veg and non-veg dishes, kerala parotta is served with chicken curry. It was such a delicious experience having hot, soft and tasty Kerala parotta and this chicken curry indeed was that of Kerala State. As I was relishing this, we were served with different types of biriyani. I loved the thalaserri biriyani the most as I am bored of dum biryani/Hyderabad biriyani, it's the same taste hence I didn't enjoy their dum biryani. So you will get two to three different biriyanis to taste and if you need more they will serve you more. One call out, if you have tasted fish curry from Kerala with kodam pulli in it then you will never like other fish currys because that's how the meen curry tastes, here the fish curry was not from Kerala. This feast was too much for me hence I didn't ask for seconds. They also give you buttermilk with spices added which has a very cooling effect for this hot weather. There's payasam and gulab jamun for dessert. It was delicious. The service is great, the servers are very polite and friendly. They have one restroom which is unisex and only one can go at a time. Overall we enjoyed our experience and we left with a plan to visit here for dinner so we can taste other items from their menu. If you're ready to try different southern Indian food then do visit them. Parking could be a little challenging as you will have to park across the street and walk towards this restaurant. Be patient and enjoy their hospitality.
OMG , this place is a must visit. It is sooo good and so close to home food., trust me, You will not be disappointed. I tried veg banana leaf meals : cauliflower 65, papad, parotta, veg kurma, mushroom masala, veg pulao , mushroom pulao ( both done with seeragasamba rice), raita, beans fry, white rice, rasam, sambar, mint lemonade, buttermilk, curd , payasam, gulab jamun. All dishes are amazing and delicious!! Staff is very kind and very polite. Experience is totally worth. Posted very few pictures, I was busy eating I will definitely revisit !!! If you are missing ‘banthi bhojanam’ , this place is must visit. !
If you are looking for a South Indian Non-Veg Thali, this is the place!! They serve it on a banana leaf and have all the right combinations of curries, biryanis, appetizers and desserts. They know how to feed and make a great meal! I believe they rotate the items regularly and so there are no specific popular items. But i could tell that each item was carefully crafted. Mutton roast was delicious, Hyderabad mutton biryani was okay, chicken biryani was full of goodness with a lot of flavor and cashews, chicken curry with idiyappam was superb. Even the raitha was made well in a better consistency. Overall, an amazing find for experiencing non vegetarian varieties.
The owners and staff are very kind and polite. I have been to this restaurant six times in one month now. Their menu is pan Indian but with a south Indian focus. Its strength is in its Andhra style dishes. The dish I recommend the most is the weekend banana leaf Thali meal. Come at 11:30 am to 2:30 pm. It is worth trying this. They have both veg and non veg option. The other one dish that stands out for me is there andhra style fish curry. It is tangy and spicy. I believe they use fresh cat fish fillet. Their Iranian chai is very unique chai that i have not seen served anywhere. The Iranian chai is very milky creamy tea with their secret masala. I think I can taste cardamom, cloves and some oregano even. The place is always clean. The washroom is clean. They are a new establishment and they are off to a good start. Their biryani are ok. The best biryani I felt was the malabar biryani chicken. Their second best biryani for me was the mutton ambur. The awadhi biryani they need to tone down masala. For the awadhi biryani I recommend studying the famous idrees biryani recipe in lucknow. I would request to introduce malabar fish biryani made with red snapper or king fish. Make it a weekend special. Also for the veg Thali can you introduce the saag daal that are sold in Andhra mess in India. The prawn masala is good also but I suggest use smaller size fresh prawn and also have the head. The prawn head releases flavor into the masala. I will definitely be back for the weekend meals. Part 2: went back tried their poori chicken meal. Hot fresh poori with hot Chennai style chicken gravy. Fantastic kept the authentic flavor but reduced spice level. I eaten same dish in Chennai but it was obviously more spicy. Regardless it's good.
Ordered takeout through Yelp and the food was ready in less than 30 min. Parking garage is right next to the restaurant so was easy to go pickup the food. Ordered Hyderabadi chicken biriyani and Tawa fish fry. Loved the food! The Hyderabadi biriyani was yummy with the right amount of masala and around 4 large pieces of chicken. The quantity is also really sufficient for 2 adults. The Tawa fish fry was more like Fish 65 and looked oily. But the fish was too good and just melted in the mouth. Marination was the right amount and so was the spice level. Had around 8 big pieces of fish. They also gave us a complimentary chicken dish which happened to be chicken pepper I guess. Anyways the chicken pieces were so tender and the curry was good. Overall tasty yummy food and can’t wait to try more dishes and their unlimited weekend buffet.
I recently dined at B3 Boyz, a restaurant specializing in biryani, and it was an exceptional experience. I savored their Hyderabadi chicken biryani, which was bursting with flavor and perfectly spiced. To complement my meal, I enjoyed a delightful cup of tea. As a first-timer, I couldn’t resist trying the Kizhi Parotta, and it turned out to be a delightful and yummy surprise. What pleasantly surprised me was the combo deal that included a refreshing ginger mint lemonade and a portion of delicious chicken 65 with my biryani. The staff at B3 Boyz were incredibly friendly and polite, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. With such a fantastic start, I can’t wait to explore the rest of their menu. B3 Boyz has definitely earned a repeat visit from me, and I look forward to trying their other culinary delights.
We went for lunch on the weekday. It was empty and got amazing service. The Amber Goat biryani, Kizhi Parota, Shrimp Fry were amazing and must try. They also have beers to go with food. The kal was also good. Overall good experience and recommend.
A gem in the Bay Area. I always loved the biryani here. Very authentic. Reminds me biryanis of Bangalore. Thalapakatti and Ambur Style Biryani. Meat could be better but I love the aroma,Taste, It’s just delicious. Even sandwiches and Weaps are great. Weekend they got buffets in the morning with lots of options. Tandoori Fish, Paneer and lot for non vegetarians. My friend was a vegetarian, Chef was kind enough to offer freshly made vegetarian biryani, Rice and Rasam. Biryani included soybean which was extremely tasty. Carrot Halwa is usually used frozen in Indian restaurants but this one was made here, it was simple and Delicious to taste bud. There was orange mint drink to start with. Totally worth the money. We hardly get 2 naans a gravy outside for this money. Roti was also here, very soft. A must Try Staffs are so Beautiful here wearing beautiful smile as pure as the chef coat he is wearing. Everytime you enter they welcome with a smile. Very helpful. Especially Raja. It’s so nice to see hoteliers smile
